Job Description
Are you a dedicated Software Engineer eager to drive positive change through technology and collaboration, working on cloud-native solutions in a flexible and inclusive work environment? Danske Bank is looking for a skilled developer join our Core Financing Platform tribe.
Who Are We?
Core Financing Platform brings together a diverse group of professionals responsible for crafting solutions that facilitate financing in the Nordic markets. The tribe consists of approximately 200 colleagues across Denmark, Lithuania, and India, with this new position based at our new domicile in Copenhagen.
Our structure includes cross-functional Squads, and you will become a central contributor as senior developer in your squad. Additionally, you will participate in Chapters, where peers in similar roles exchange ideas, collaborate, and grow professionally. Your contributions to both Squads and Chapters are essential in driving our operational excellence and innovative approaches.
Role Overview And Key Responsibilities
Maintain, design, and develop software solutions using a technology stack that includes .NET C#, Kubernetes, REST API, Microsoft SQL Server and GitHub
Implement DevOps, CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code
Participate in and contribute to an agile setup with focus on delivering business value
Write clean, testable, well-documented, code that is easy to maintain and extend
Collaborate with other developers and architects to design, implement, and deploy new features, while also mentoring junior developers to enhance their skills and contribute to the team's success
Continuously look at emerging technology trends that can improve our solutions and adopt new best practices to focus on continual improvement in the industry
About You
You are motivated to craft quality solutions and thrive in a dynamic, agile environment characterized by constant demands, flat hierarchies, and a collaborative culture with a strong customer focus. Additionally, we envision that you:
Demonstrate a solid proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and REST APIs, applying relevant design patterns for scalable, maintainable solutions
Consistently leverage Clean Code principles to produce clear, testable, and adaptable code
Skillfully assess and refactor codebases from a high-level perspective, identifying architecture improvements and ensuring coherence
Communicate fluently and professionally in English, promoting knowledge sharing and collaboration
Mentor and upskill peers to build a highly aligned development culture
Show a strong foundation in backend development and effectively integrate modern architecture patterns (e.g., microservices, event-driven architecture, domain-driven design)
Are interested in learning, adapting, and growing alongside evolving technologies
Thrive in multidisciplinary teams, combining a diplomatic approach with technical leadership
