About ExSeed Health

Since 2017, ExSeed Health has been redefining male fertility testing with cutting-edge medical devices and digital solutions. After three years of development, we released our at-home sperm test kit in 2020. To date, we have analyzed more than 60,000 semen samples. We are now continuously pushing the boundaries with our latest innovation, the ExSeed CASA Lite Human Semen Analyzer—a clinical-grade digital microscope for advanced male fertility assessment.

CASA Lite is a desktop compatible digital microscope that integrates sensor technology, machine learning, and computer vision for accurate fertility evaluation. Built with a Flutter frontend and a Python-based cloud backend on AWS, it provides a streamlined interface for clinicians.

With our R&D team based in Copenhagen, we are expanding and looking for a Software Engineer to drive the development and continuous improvement of our solutions, working alongside a dedicated three-person software team. Role Overview

This is a unique opportunity for a skilled software developer to drive innovation in a high-growth environment while also playing a key role in project planning and stakeholder collaboration. You will be actively involved in the software development lifecycle, contributing to architecture, coding, performance optimization, and troubleshooting. You will ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our desktop application while maintaining high-quality standards and regulatory compliance.

In addition to hands-on development, you will help prioritize projects, manage development timelines, and align technical decisions with business goals. You will work closely with internal developers, external partners, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions, ensuring efficient resource allocation and timely delivery.

While leadership and planning skills are important, this role prioritizes deep technical expertise, hands-on development, and the ability to push our technology forward.

Key Responsibilities

Hands-on development of the software development project.

Develop project timelines, define deliverables, and track progress to ensure on-time releases.

Work with external partners, to align software functionality with industry needs.

Oversee software validation, and performance testing.

Collaborate with regulatory and quality teams to ensure medical device compliance.

Qualifications

Strong understanding of multiple programming languages (Advantageous: Flutter, C++, Python, and AWS).

Proven experience leading software development projects.

Experience in developing and releasing software.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Familiarity with medical device software and/or usability engineering is a plus.

Excellent communication skills in English.
