Jobbeskrivelse

Love turning sound into code?

Join our Audio Technology team as an Intern and help us shape the sound of future GN headsets. In this role, you’ll support optimizing audio signal processing and acoustics while learning from an experienced, friendly team. Your work will contribute to our mission of Bringing People Closer by improving how headset users are being heard by others in a call.

We are flexible regarding the duration of your internship and will together find a period that fits both your study requirements and our projects. If you have two years left of your studies this will allow us to build a longer-term collaboration. For the right candidate, there may also be an opportunity to continue as a student assistant after the internship period, so you can keep growing with us alongside your studies.

The team you will be part of:

The Audio Technology team develops audio technologies that make GN products the preferred choice for customers. We work closely with our research and product development teams. We focus on adding value for both internal and external customers, building on solid craftsmanship.

Our approach is modular, constructing new technology on a robust and well-designed foundation. We verify and mature our technology through prototyping and thorough testing under realistic conditions. We work using the SAFe framework, and plan in Azure DevOps (ADO).

Our team is diverse, with members from various nationalities, and we value personal and cultural differences. Our daily communication language is English. We cultivate a learning culture where we support each other and learn from our mistakes – growing and improving as one team.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:

Implement and run algorithm tests for audio signal processing features

Gather audio recordings and organize datasets for testing

Perform acoustic tests and measurements on headset prototypes (objective and subjective)

Document results clearly and collaborate with engineers to iterate quickly

Present your findings in a demo so that the entire team can learn from them

To perform well as an Audio Tech Intern at GN, we imagine that you:

Are currently enrolled in a BSc/MSc in Electrical/Acoustic Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or similar

Can code comfortably in Matlab, C, and Python

Have basic knowledge of signal processing and acoustics, and enjoy practical lab work

Are structured, curious, and willing to ask questions or try new tools

Communicate well in English and thrive in a collaborative environment

We encourage you to apply

We are dedicated to an inclusive recruitment process and all applicants will receive equal consideration for employment. As such, we encourage you to submit your CV without a photo to ensure an equal and fair application process.

Join us in bringing people closer

GN brings people closer through our innovative hearing, audio, video, and gaming solutions. Inspired by people and driven by innovation, we deliver technology that enhance the senses of hearing and sight. We help people with hearing loss overcome real-life challenges, improve communication and collaboration for businesses, and provide great experiences for audio and gaming enthusiasts.
