Job Description

Join our Manufacturing Digital Platform Team and help transform our manufacturing and logistics areas use of technology. If you’re excited by combining hardware, software, and cloud infrastructure to solve real-world challenges, this role is for you.

Please note This role is on Manager Specialist level and we do not offer relocation support.

Core Responsibilities

Build, operate, and improve a technical platform enabling teams across the company to run applications on small, low-cost IIoT devices effortlessly, combining code, infrastructure, and hardware.

Act as a bridge between engineering and stakeholders, guiding adoption of the platform and continuously improving it.

Promote engineering excellence, ensuring best practices in development, security, and scalability.

The Platform Technology department provides solutions and technology for the engineering, manufacturing and logistics areas of the LEGO Group.

In this position you will be part of a platform team that empowers other teams to innovate quickly and efficiently on the factory floor. You will take part in developing the backend- and provisioning-system behind the platform, ensure a fully managed OS on the devices, work on the infrastructure behind it all and ensure that all teams can easily deploy their containerized workloads to large fleets of devices to avoid the need for specialized IT knowledge on the factory floor. In addition, you'll take an active role in engaging stakeholders, facilitating their adoption of the platform, and spearheading improvements. Your work directly contributes to making the LEGO Groups manufacturing smarter, faster, and more reliable, blending the digital and physical worlds in ways that truly make a difference.

Do you have what it takes?

Strong programming background, ideally with TypeScript.

Experienced with with Linux/Unix and passionate about software-hardware integration and IIoT.

Proficiency in CI/CD, containerization, and cloud platforms (GitHub, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).

Experience with DevOps and a you build it you run it mindset.

A team player and influencer, able to drive initiatives, engage stakeholders, and foster a positive engineering culture.

Curious, proactive, and committed to continuous learning and improvement.
